Make your own SHORTCUTS
Go to the folder there you have installed Revit(eg. Progam Files)
And open the folder Program and find the file Keyboardshortcuts.txt
Make a copy of it - just for safety.
Open Keyboardshortcuts.txt in Notepad.
eg. if you want to use the function-key F9
to open the menu for hide/isolate
you have to change this line:
;"" menu:"view-hide/isolate"
so it looks like this instead:
F9 menu:"view-hide/isolate"
Save the file Keyboardshortcuts.txt
and start Revit! to use your new shortcuts

MrGG,
Thank you for your contributions to Revitcity, I noticed you've been writing some short tutorials in some of the gallery comments. If you are interested in writing some tutorials that we can place on the site in the "Tutorials" page, please see the paragraph at the bottom of this page:
http://www.revitcity.com/tutorials.php
thanks!

I suggest that you make a new Forum
called Tutorials
and makes it possible to upload images and .pdf-files to that Forum
perhaps also .doc-files but they are not a 100% safe...
The best tutorials I think is the ones made with Flash and with sound
And the video tutorials but they are big, too many bytes?
So make a new Forum - called Tutorials -
and make it possible to upload images and .pdf-files
That will be good
and I think you will have so many more contributions - now it is only three!!!
But in the gallery there is more than three
because it is so much more easy just to upload an image and a little text
or have the text in a .pdf-file.
Otherwise, RevitCity is great!

Perhaps you can use the same technique as in the gallery
for tutorials - and call it eg. THE TUTORIAL GALLERY - using thumbnails.
The members can upload an image and write an text to the image.
And not only one picture with text - perhaps you need to use 10 pictures with text for a tutorial.
And perhaps you also must allow the author to make changes to the text and switch images because most tutorials are not correct in the first round.
By making a tutorial gallery you have made it possible to make tutorials in a direct manner just like uploading an image to the gallery
And you will have more contributions of tutorials
Look you have got 150 gallery images now but just 3 tutorials
and one of them is of your own hand.
Making a tutorial gallery is just a little programming.
And you already have all the ingrediences.
And you have invented something good
And Revitcity will be greater than great
