We need more information on how you created your stairs.  I'm assuming that this is a process problem

This stair was created using the create sketch (pencil tool) and the boundary, riser and Stair path tool. I am not sure why this matters.

"I am not sure why this matters"  Your not sure why your process matters?  There is multiple ways to create stairs so if we don't know how you did it then how do you expect us to give you an answer?

When using the stair sketh tool I'm assuming all you did was make a bigger space from one riser to the next to get your landing correct?  You need to break your boundary lines up at the landing so essentially you will have 6 different boundary lines.  See the image I have attached, the red X's indicate the different boundary lines.

Many thanks teafoe5. I appreciate your concern. I had already replied to this email yesterday, but on logging on today i noticed that my reply is not showing, so I am sending you another. Don't be alarmed if two replies eventually show later.
