is there any way to recover files that have not been saved yet? like a file named Project1.rvt? thanks all for any kind of help, Tasso.

Not sure what you are asking. If the file is saved, then just open it. If it has not been saved, then there is nothing. Revit does not have a recover process like CAD because it asks if you want to save a "recover" file if it has a problem.
