I'm running Revit Arch. 2010 on a laptop with an extra monitor. I have my laptop screen set as the the main monitor where my windows bar and start menu and shortcuts are located and I use the extra monitor to run Revit full screen. I start up Revit like normal this morning and for some reason whenever i click on anything in any view it moves up. So if I just click on a wall, a window, a model line anything that isn't pinned or constrained it moves upwards. Also the objects don't move up the same distance everytime, usually it moves about 900 to 1600mm. When I move revit back to my little laptop screen the problem goes away but obviously I would rather work on the bigger external screen. I had this happen to me with Revit Arch 2009 also but it went away after I installed an update. Any idea what this is? Do I have to reinstall Revit? is there some setting I have to check to work with an external monitor? So far I am the only one in our office to have the problem so is just some freak issue with my computer? Any help is appreciated. AB

So I found a solution in a way. I didn't have my external monitor set as the primary monitor on my desktop settings. When I make the external monitor my primary monitor and move the windows bar and start menu over to the external monitor the "objects moving" in Revit goes away. It's kind of annoying to me that I had to move the start menu over but it is better than working on the little laptop screen. I don't get why this suddenly happend though and if anyone knows more about this I would like to hear from you. Thanks AB
