I'm very green with Revit, but am able to get by so far. THe families I've created have always been solid 1-constant size objects. I have a question that has been stressing me out all day, so was hoping someone could help. I'd like to create a family for a new Timbe Member. I want to be able to insert dimensions for the cross section of the member, then draw out the member layout with the mouse and have the member folow my path. i.e. If it was a 2x4 member that was a sill plate, I would put in the nominal dimensions and then draw it accross my foundtion wall. All the way along it would make the 2x4 and it would follow the foundation wall as I snap to it. I greatly appreciate your help. Thanks, Nungerson
