I am looking for a SF tool like the SF Inquiry tool in Acad.  Just need to do a quick SF from time to time before making a room or an area, just down and dirty info but just cant seem to fine the tool,  the REVIT "Tape Measure" tool is like the "Distance" tool in Acad so I would HOPE/Think revit may have the SF one as well???

 HELP

Marty

OK, I am really new, I could not follow what you said?? I don't have a room area deisgn bar??  with the way the Acad inquiry works you just pick points close and it gives you SF.  like the revit measure tool does not place any infor on the drawing just gives you the info

If you have already created rooms, you can always put in a room tag that shows the room area.
