Greetings.

I am trying to setup the export settings for exporting to DWG.  It appears, after some testing and research, that I need to map all Revit line patterns to DWG Linetypes.  I had expected that {Automatically generate linetype} would work but it does not - all lines in the DWG are continuous.

What does Automatically generate linetype do?

As well, I had hoped that Set linetype scale = Scaled Linetype definitions would help but I still need to set the LTSCALE in the DWG files to 96 or 100 (depending on the drawing scale) - Revit experts its DWGs with LTSCALE=1.

What does Set linetype scale = Scaled Linetype definitions do?

Am I missing something here?  Is there a better workflow that will result in DWG exports that look like the Revit views without all this 'mapping' and setting of linetypes?

all suggestions are appreciated.Ian
