hi. i'm using Revit 2014. i'm trying to draw a screen wall around the cooling tower yard. the only thing that i have done that looked even close, was to put a ton of wall openings in the walls. but by doing that, it slowed my computer almost to a stand still. i need a better option.
thank you in advance.

What kind of screen wall - you don't say? .... and you should
Is it a louver screen wall? Then place louvers in a wall
If it is a material with holes in it, then assign a material like that to a layer of a wall.
....oops - missed the title. .... just a minute

i'm sorry, i thought that i did. it's a Brick wall. and basically it would have bricks missing to let the air pass through for the cooling towers. the wall may have 2 hundred openings in it. that is why Revit almost crashed.

Look at my second post...... That was two walls, one in front of the other - you would have the single wall. Uses one -in place void.

here is an image of what i had done. but like i stated it locked up the program having all those openings in 3 walls. it looked great. when i rotated around the building you could see the cooling towers through the wall.

Don't do multiple openings. Do as I showed, one void (in-place family) sketch on each wall face.
