I apologize if this is not the proper forum for this question, but I did not find a subforum for feedback. Administrators, please move the thread to the proper place.
Here's my question: How do we update an avatar in this forum? I want to upload a new image, but it won't update. I go to "Edit User Profile", and I see the option to upload in image. There are some instructions, such as "Image files can be no larger than 15Kb in size and no larger than 80 pixel wide or 80 pixels high." I have double checked that the image that I am trying to upload complies with those specs, but nothing happens. The image won't load, and when I click on "Update profile", nothing really updates. I tried with .jpg format, nothing. I tried with .gif format, nothing. Can anybody help on this, please?

I just uploaded an image and mine worked. Can you try with a much smaller image to verify that your file is small enough?

Ok so I uploaded my inital image, I did not have one before and it worked fine. Just to test it I just tried to change it with a different image and it did not change.

Thank you guys for the quick responses. Mine won´t change, and I am using a very small file that is just 4 kb (the maximum allowed is 15 kb). The size in pixels is 50 x 50 (the maximum allowed is 80 x 80). But nothing happens.

Yes, but Teafoe is saying that he didn't have an image before, and now he can't change this one. Maybe users who don't have an avatar can upload a new one but users who already have an avatar cannot update it.

It did not change immediately. I closed my internet and when I came back on it was changed you are correct WWHub. Alf I think you need to try a different image and see what happens. Also try logging out and back in.

I found a file permission bug that affected only about 100 users on the site. It has been corrected now and you should be able to update your avatar now.

Nope. I tried again. Different files. Loging on and off, etc. etc. Website says "update succesful". But it never updates the image with a new file.
Thank you guys for trying to help. Let's move on to something else...
