Revit ARCH 2013
First: there are no overrides or changing in object styles or anything of that nature.
For some reason when a section is cut through a CW (CW1) the cut pattern is changed in the rigid insulation portion of the wall assembly that is below the base of the CW. If one moves the section not through the opening the pattern acts normally. Or if the CW is deleted and or offset from Level 1 1/4"
Anybody else seen this issue ??? Maybe even have the cause...

Yes. It does print the same.
My team has just informed me this happens at window and door openings...this is not specific to a particular wall type or even section cut...
I've never seen this in 8 years

nope no satcked walls used on the project
the only thing I can think of...
we have created custom PAT files for fill/cut patterns
these patterns have been assigned to wall sweeps banding the building...
could the fact that PAT files are in multiple locations be causing an issue?

Create a new, very simple project and do similar walls in that to see what happens.
I have found that the later Revit's do not always display all the patterns in views. That is why I asked my question.
