I have a situation with an exterior curtain wall. The mullion is a 45 deg. mullion which is pulled behind the glass to create a corner but joint. However, I cannot get the glass extend beyond the mullion. This creates a gap. I would just draw over with details lines, but this effects all of my exterior elevations as well. An image is attached, so any help would be appreciated.

Not sure how the mullion was created. But with mullions, if they interesect the plane of the panel , they will break the panel. try offseting that mullion a little more and see if that will get the glass to butt up against each other.

Well, the gap exist even if you "move" your profile in the family, the glass cross...

Typhoon - this only works if the glass is the Center of the CW. We have the Center of the Mullion as the center of CW. But your solution could work in another situation.

Correct, they will not meet, nor 'miter', an in all actuality does not do so in 'real life'. If you want to go to the trouble of creating a new panel style that stops short of filling in by 1/4" and when placed in curtain wall there will be a more accurate depiction of real life, where the glazing stops and a sealant joint is created. but this is a lot of work for minimal gain. what you have now will render fairly accurate, and if you dont like the overlap in plan, depending upon the scale, you might try joining the geometry.

How did you get the corner mulllion like that to begin with? I am struggling with this.
Trying to create something like this...

You can vary the shape of mullions by loading new mullion profiles into a project. Also, you can create a custom profile.
Read This. And This
You will need a left and right.
I believe you may also find some already made in some of the CW's available on Autodesk SEEK.
