Mart Stam Chair by Mart Stam

The Mart Stam Chair was introduced in 1926 by the famous Dutch architect and furniture designer Mark Stam. The chair features leather wrapped over tubular steel bars, with leather wrapped armrests placed securely on each side of the seat. As a design, it remarkably lies between Mies van der Rohe's Brno chair and Breuer's early chair designs, such as the Strapped chair and the Wassily chair. Overall, its simplicity understates its role as arguably one of the most important chair designs of the early 20th century. Stam's design for a cantilever chair helped revolutionize design. This modern furniture focuses great attention on creativity and taste of innovation, out of the ordinary, and with highest care for details both of design and of functionality. http://www.littledetailscount.com

This is unique chair, but I am concern about putting all the weight behind and nothing supports it? In my case, when it comes to furniture I prefer one that is possible to use for both indoor and outdoor, just as those furniture and outdoor seats being offered at http://www.javateakoutdoorfurniture.com/.
